Office Policies

  1. All cancellations must be made at least 24 hrs in advance or client will be charged for full appointment.
  2. If client misses an appointment, payment is required for full appointment time missed before treatments can resume.
  3. Appointments begin and end on a strict schedule
  4. Promptness is required to avoid losing treatment time. If late, client pays for the treatment time lost.

Procedure Policies

  1. I understand that a single use, disposable probe will be inserted into each hair follicle and a small amount of current will be used to destroy the dermal papilla, matrix and “the bulge”, all of which cause the hair to grow and regenerate.
  2. I understand that multiple, scheduled treatments are necessary for desired results. Treatment results may vary among individuals and no guarantee can be given as to final results obtained.
  3. I understand that any change in health care status will be my responsibility to inform Sandra’s Electrolysis, Inc.
  4. I have received a printed copy and understand the pre / post skin care instructions. I accept responsibility in complying with these.
  5. I understand that electrolysis treatments may be refused by Sandra’s Electrolysis, Inc. due to noncompliance and / or inability to adhere to the office policies.
  6. I understand that if I have tattoos in the treatment area that the color may be affected.
  7. I understand that the electrologist may take pictures / or videos to document skin and hair conditions.

Possible Side Effects

Short term Side Effects Include But Are Not Limited To:

  1. Discomfort, redness, swelling and occasional bruising.
  2. Small pimple-like pustules may develop after day one.
  3. Scab/rash may develop after day one and last approximately one week.
  4. Cold sores (may be activated if you are prone to them).
  5. Topical anesthetic reaction.
  6. Hyperpigmentation can occur.

Long term Side Effects Include But Are Not Limited To:

  1. Pitting of the skin may occur from picking or scratching the treated area if a rash develops.
